Medium Close-Up Shot


A 'Medium Close-Up' is used effectively to show the facial expressions of the police men .It also shows the body language of the officers which conveys their shocked emotion.In the shot , the clothing is visible to show the futuristic time the clip is set in and also how advanced everything became.The use of the 1 man in front of the rest shows his superiority of the others.

Establishing Shot

A 'Establishing Shot' is used to show the setting of where the action is going to take place.
By viewing the shot, you are able to see it in what looks to be a dark alley way.This shot is effective because it shows the time/year the clip is set in, which is in the future.

Close-Up Shot


A 'Close-Up Shot' mainly has the face covering most of the screen,this is extremely effective as it emphasises the protagonists emotion/facial expression.In the picture,you can tell that the protagonist feels worried by his eyebrows raised indicating he is shocked.

In this clip a 'Over-The-Shoulder Shot' is being used to highlight that 2 people are having a conversation.This is also visibly shows the facial expression of Barry Allen (Flash) which is a happiness which suggests that he is having a good moment currently with Iris, the person he is talking to.

A 'Medium Shot' is being used here to show the background and facial expression.You can tell by Iris's body language and facial expression that she is extremely shocked at what she is currently witnessing.

This is a 'Establishing Shot' , and this shows the setting of where everything is taken place.In this shot you can see a city and next to it the ocean.The clouds getting darker foreshadows that something bad is going to occur .


Angle

A low angle is used to show the antagonist's superiority and power.The angle makes him look like a evil obstacle that needs to be defeated by the protagonist.

A high angle is used to show how defenceless and powerless the person is.The blood and scars on his face show that he has been in some sort of fight that caused him to get injured really bad.The tape around his mouth show that he is being restricted of talking , showing he could be kidnapped.
