Summer Project 2019

Summer Project

Nike:Nothing beats a Londoner

Narrative:The ad reinforces how strong Londoners are when it comes to sports and physical activites.

Audience:The advert is mainly targetted for young teens who are athletic or into sport .

Representations:There is a representation of a lot of middle class people which shows that by wearing Nike anyone can become powerful. The use of a girl boxer subverts sterotypes because boxing is mainly prioritised to men .The really young child riding a horse shows that age doesn't effect how athletic you are or want to be .

Publix:Graduation

Narrative: A father is telling the story of how his son grew up both failing and succeeding yet not giving up.

Audience : The ad is targeted towards parents to show that you should never give up on your children and that their support is what'll help them grow .It is also arguably targetted towards children to show that you should never give up and always try.

Representations: There is a black family which suggests that Publix is including diverse ethnicities which subverts stereotypes.

Lynx: Is it OK for guys...

Narrative :It is a bunch of clips of people (guys) who are insecure about something .

Audience: The audience is for men who don't do stuff because of what they see on the media .

Representations : There is a representation of insecure men which reinforces the fact that men are struggling due to not being able to be themselves without trying to be like the media.
